I thought I'd post a little something on an outfit I really loved, which was perfect for a freezing cold yet sunny day out in London.
My first priority when picking this outfit? Warmth. I wore this to go for a spot of lunch and then to do some shopping, knowing that I’d want to be comfortable and wrapped up in the freezing cold January weather.
I paired the oversized burgundy turtle neck jumper with this medium brown open coat throw-on and to my surprise, the colours really complemented each other! The jumper is super thick and the coat very light, so I knew I’d be nice and warm, without having to experience that classic winter feeling of layering so much that you feel ready to set foot on Antarctica. On that note, I guess it's safe to say that winter fashion does indeed require a little rationale.
I thought I’d keep to black for the bottom half of the outfit, as I didn’t want to go overboard with the colours. I’m wearing high waisted black leggings, a little black tote bag and some black knee high boots.
